Letters From Friends

Letters From Friends                10-16-2016

Dear Ray,

Well, It’s 2:15 am. Since I can’t sleep I choose to write you a letter.

It was an endearing to see you stand alongside your wife, Tonia as she asked for prayer for her family. You have chosen an amazing wife! Her heart and her spirit are so tuned with God’s ways. And understanding of scripture is inspiring.

And I understand you are greatly responsible for all that. She has told me that you taught her so much. Thank you for guiding her … for planting seeds of faith in her … for teaching her.

You have a challenging job, to be the head of your family. Being provider and protector is a heavy responsibility and yet a huge honor. Your little girls are absolutely adorable! What treasures are in your care? But it is not easy being the only male in you family. Three Girls. I know cause I was the only female in my family of boys. There was times I felt lonely and mis-understood. Maybe you feel that way on occasions. Fortunately, life is so busy we just keep rushing on and on. Can’t worry about it.

But, you must be doing an awfully lot of stuff right because your family is exceptionally sweet and dear. They all make me smile just to look at them. And they wouldn’t be happy and sweet as they are without a loving, caring husband and daddy!

We don’t know you as well as we would like, but all evidence shows you are quite the Godly man! Thank you for being an example of Christ to your family and to the church and everywhere you go!

You are blessed … and you are a blessing!!

We pray God’s continued strength and wisdom for you each day.

  1. To The Church
Church, families, always expressing their talents are more than enough … These qualities are only gained by reaching out to others that are worthy of duplicating. Church, your in need of hearts that can generate a gentle expression of desires that’ s so irresistibly drawn from within others. Seeing them at times settling back gracefully relaxed, while holding their hands still and laughing and who keeps wisdom vigil and talks in a low voice and listens with responsive eyes and smiles. Churches do create more precious wonders as if they had built a rocketship that can pass smoothly, quietly, and undisturbedly through the vastness of the galaxies of space and time. That experience would be charming to their hearts, senses, and minds.
As if it were possible of the church to reach out to this clashing point and finding that special someone who had drawn them into their own atmosphere with an unquestionably wise radiant smile. With teeth so white, they can see them from a million miles. Their eyes now lit up to establish this identification of their complete attention to others by their soothing and hypnotic ways. When they go out walking along the pathways of life; they bring with them a feeling such as though they were bathed in a beautiful rainbow of light.
What the church has most of are the secrets to have the love that pours out so unexpectedly. When the church shows a genuine interest in others, a graciousness comes over them that is so compelling. That when they talk to people as if they were strange hard shells that they would have to crack open to get inside. They talk as though they are already in that shell. In their very shell.
You’ll find in the writing above a definition describing the church as being more than perfect; however, you must understand that they have to experience the harried moments from all sides in their daily lives along with the tranquil times. But by them reaching out through their sphere to embrace others, they open themselves to a Higher Power. Bringing with them a sudden light from inside, and this illumination does transform for them a look that is more effective than any fancy beauty makeover.
So, the church must pray that they will remain in this existence for an indefinitely long time. Showing a response of their souls. Greeting everyone they bring in with these technicalities, no matter how busy they become. They don’t rush these encounters with members, coworkers, families, or friends. They just keep speaking softly, listing attentively, and presenting in every conversation the most important things from what’s on their minds. They continue to look people in their eyes when they talk to them, and while they lavish this love of theirs on every living being they encounter. See how different they feel when they peel those shoes from their feet.
Please dear church, read on and see what else you will find in your hearts. The church must possess all this beauty. Every day, the church needs to be more willing to reach out to people and give them comfort and inspiration the best way that they can.
In being a great church, you must be a church who supports each endeavor. It’s nice to have someone to help you in a difficult hour.

  2. (I believe that if I would listen “draw close and obey” God as my Father and friend. He not only is with me in what I had to do. But be everywhere I am and be supportive. Now when I pray I must stop a listen to Him and write down His words. Now when I give Him my ears He will discuss my potential.)

Finally, Escaping from the devil’s foothold of futility, lies, stealing, and Self-satisfying pleasures. I now can be a new person, speak the truth, think good things, work, give to others, speak gracefully, be kind, and have gratitude.

  3. Lord’s Supper
When you gather as followers of Jesus, spend time in quiet meditation, silently considering and confessing your sins.
When you are ready, have someone read this passage from scripture —
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-24
Pass out bread you have set aside for your group, and eat. Continue the reading —
“In the same way, He took the cup also after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’” 1 Corinthians 11:25
Share the juice or wine you have set aside for your group, and drink.
Finish the reading: “For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:26
You have shared in The Lord’s Supper. You are His, and He is yours!
    Ask Yourself
    • What does the bible say is required and not required to take communion?

1 Corinthians 11:27-32 / Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. …
